Avila is an Australian lifestyle label locally produced in Melbourne, offering luxury clothing you can wear everyday. We instil qualities of elegance and naturalness in all our garments by selecting luxurious natural fabrics, ensuring quality fit and an ethical and sustainable conscience. Our philosophy stems from supporting healthy, balanced lifestyles where style and comfort do co-exist.

Fabrics such as merino wool, bamboo, linen, modal and tencel are used in various methods to create unique shapes and textures that flatter the female figure. The combination of these fabrics and design techniques create everyday luxury garments for women of all shapes and sizes.

Founded by Melbourne based designer Ashleigh Bingham in 2013, the inspiration behind the label Avila, came as a reply to the demands of everyday life, where functionality and style need to merge to create clothing suitable for life’s daily activities. As an active individual Ashleigh was inspired by the idea that our clothing can transition us throughout the day from a yoga class, to coffee with friends to shopping and back again.

With a Bachelor of Design specialising in Fashion, Ashleigh was inspired to create an ethical Australian made label dedicated to using high quality natural fabrics with eco friendly and sustainable considerations. Through working as an Intern in the industry Ashleigh gained valuable experience, enforcing further her ambitions to create a label that supported local artisans, with low environmental impact.

Drawing inspiration from landscapes, nature and the relaxed Australian culture, Ashleigh develops collections that integrate into our lifestyles designing classic, timeless styles with a unique twist.

Avila produces two ranges, one focused on casual daywear and the other range focused on an active lifestyle with styles that merge between the two. Through designing two ranges, Ashleigh creates cohesive collections that provide the answer to the busy modern day woman.
