Born and raised in Mexico City, César Alcocer moved in the earlier 90. to New York City where he studied in the FIT Fashion Institute of Technology New York.
He worked at many of the notable fashion houses in NYC but always knew he was destined to create his own brand.
An active wear sport designer, sports enthusiast turns into luxury designer: Alcocer begins his career in sport designing, working for labels like Puma, Reebok, Fila and Le Coq Sportif among others. Later on he turned his career 90 degrees working in the High End Fashion Industry as an assistant designer for Bob Evans and as a Fashion Illustrator for Christian Dior and Oscar de la Renta.
In 2011, after a successful career, designing for well-known dress companies, Alcocer decided, that the time was right to launch his own fashion house under the label of AULIO.
Today, Alcocer has became even more focused on designing with the customer in mind and creating looks with the primary purpose of always bringing out the beauty of each woman. He maintains a presence in Mexico City and New York City.
Awards: César recently has been nominated by the Fashion Group International New York for the Rising Star Award in the Ready-to-Wear category.
