Argyle & Oxford

Argyle & Oxford emerge from the mind of Velda Anabela and Rebecca Billina in late 2010. Aiming to provide the youth with classic daily wear with a twist. Started in 2011 season, Argyle & Oxford showcased their first collection in Jakarta Fashion Week stage, then in 2014 the brand received the "Most Innovative Local Brand" award by Cleo Magazine Indonesia in the same stage as their first debut. Since then, Argyle & Oxford has established its name in Jakarta's indie label scene by constantly deliver new collection.

The name "Argyle" is originally a knitted pattern usually found in socks and "Oxford" is a typical english brogues, the idea is when those two items paired together will create a classic but quirky look and this is how the brand represents itself. Known for its witty embroidery, interesting details and pockets on staple pieces. From buttoned up shirts, bowling shirts, coach jackets, kimonos, pinafore to drawstring shorts, Argyle & Oxford is one to lookout for those who seek a little bit of fun in their day to day wardrobe.
