Anita Hirlekar

Anita Hirlekar is a fashion designer born in Iceland. She moved to London to study at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She completed her BA in Fashion Design with Print in 2012 followed by the MA, choosing to specialise in Textiles for Fashion under the guidance of Professor Louise Wilson. Hirlekar's MA collection was shown during the A/W 2014 collections at London Fashion Week. Her design signature has a strong focus on artistic glamour and individuality along with embracing modern craft. Hirlekar MA collection won Fashion special Prize at the International Talent Support (ITS) competition 2014. Her work has been featured at Vogue.co.uk, Style.com, Elle UK, Showstudio.com, I D magazine and Anothermag.com
