Imaginative, sustainable clothing and textiles all handmade in Brooklyn, NY. With dreamlike crochet shapes and sunprinted silks, these pieces are created for the curious to love. Each piece is one of kind from the textile, down to the seam finishing. While approaching clothing as wearable sculpture, Amalya's work marries beauty and grit. The polished and exquisitely unrefined mingle through constant exploration in fabric manipulation, silhouette and upcycling. Experimental and distinctive in her design, Amalya practices zero-waste construction, and works predominantly with natural fibers.

Amalya is very excited to have just built out and opened a physical space, Lagoon New York, with like-minded designer Logan Blagg. This dream space will house an exploration into independent art, fashion and thought. Amalya and Logan’s work is available for sale in the company of complimentary creations in the realms of art, body, jewelry and housewares. The space also functions as a gallery featuring local artists of various mediums. Located at 293 Nostrand Ave. in Brooklyn, NY You are very much invited to visit!

Amalya has been invited to be fabscrap's featured designer this spring, you can look out for her capsule collection to be sold through them. Prior to this Amalya guest curated the FWBK Sustainable show , in which she also presented her most recent collection, Leaning Inn. In addition to NYFW, Amalya has shown at Paris Fashion Week, Miami Art Basel and has work currently for sale in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles and London. Amalya holds degrees from Central St. Martins, Parsons and Eugene Lang.
