Demeure

DEMEURE is a womenswear label created by Charlotte Cazal, an artist who has chosen the garment as her medium of choice. Combining fashion and art, Demeure seeks to create for each season a wardrobe of wearable art pieces that seduce through clearly defined codes that also reflect the ethics of the brand. The Demeure collections are manufactured in small series in the North of France in workshops that are based on ancestral textile traditions. Art is a common thread throughout the Demeure collections. Through its collections the brand seeks to honour the work of recognised artists, who take part of each step of the creation.

Beyond the limits of the company, Demeure unites a creative community and becomes a tribune, events, expositions, a tribute to art and crafts.

The brand was awarded Maisons de Mode Grand Prize in 2013, a French fashion business incubator that selects and develops emerging brands and follows Demeure.
