Growing up, Reese was under the fashion constraints of his small town but little did he know that was exactly what he needed to fuel his fire. Once Reese was allowed to start dressing himself, he realized he didn’t want to blend in with the crowd. At the age of 16, Reese had the opportunity to work at a fashion boutique called SpaceFB, the flagship of French designer François Beaurégard, who produced local and was at the forefront of casual comfort. It was through this experience that he launched his first accessories capsule collection. Starting a business is something most teenagers would feel daunted by but for him, felt natural.

After getting the fundamentals in international business & marketing at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, Reese transferred to FIDM in Los Angeles to further his fashion knowledge. While attending FIDM, he was able to turn his obsession with Juicy Couture into a major stepping stone in his career. After just one month of interning, Reese quickly moved up to assistant designer. This was just the start of his noteworthy résumé which includes: Head Designer for William Rast, Design Director for I Jeans by Buffalo and Nevada, and Designer for Fred David. Reese took the knowledge he learned and guidance from noteworthy friends and started his own line, DE LA COMMUNE. Reese is ready to take the fashion world by storm. DE LA COMMUNE means “from the community” and it’s important for Reese to “pay it forward” and inspire others.

With his inventive use of fabrics and attention to detail, the energy of Reese will be what moves the fashion industry forward.
