Comet Chukura

Comet Chukura is the founder and designer behind the popular knitwear brand GLOW. Having worked as a design assistant for fashion houses such as Preen and Michiko Koshino, Comet's love and passion for ethical fashion grew after graduating from The London College Of Fashion in response to the throw away nature of the high-street.

Having been raised in the heart of the East End, Comet developed a range inspired by the East End, its vibrancy of colour and cycling.

The collection was formed around function and ethical fashion, particularly sustainability through its London production base and the fact that each piece is handmade by women in the community.

Comet's dream was to create beautiful light reflective knitwear accessories that are perfect for the fashion conscious city dweller, and outdoor enthusiast alike, without compromising style for function. An adaptable range that would reflect light at night, practical for cyclists, joggers, etc but fashion forward, edgy and easy to wear in the day. Creating knitwear looks good, feels good and does good.
