This collection is a series of one-of-a-kind patchworks, hand dyed and quilted pieces, and layers of draping. I primarily looked at utility garments and industrial settings for this collection— aprons, my grandfather's wood workshop, a derelict column wrapped in caution tape. This work is focused on celebrating hand craft and a slow approach to creating in an age of industrialization. The industrial research directly influenced materiality, using Tyvec, heavy drills, and surplus military parachutes as key fabrics.
