Whether we see humans to be part of one global society or every individual as a member of a particular one, the omnipresent feature we all share is the urgency of contemporary problems and their consequences for the future of humanity. Besides a personal attempt to be more responsible, ecological and sustainable, I also intended to create a collection reflecting on this issue. Specifically, I address concerns and problems related to consumption and consumerism that shattered my affection to and awareness about fashion production.
