KOBO - The collection was created as a form of experimentation and social commentary. To many homeless inhabitants of Cape Town, the storm-blanket is their common source of shelter from the harsh realities of life. Through observation a certain sense of cultural individuality has made its way through in how the blankets have been draped or wrapped around the subject creating a somewhat pleasing aesthetic to dressing with minimal resources.
