As part of becoming aware of my origin, I decided to accept my racial heritage and what it means to be an African descendant. Then I began to make visible those aspects of me that I had not taken into account in the construction of my identity. From the understanding and listening to the stories, battles and personal experiences of my friends who talked about discrimination. My struggle begins to make visible my true feeling of what it means to live in a society characterized by the stereotypes of the African Peruvian and the imminent triumph of the Caucasians.
