Falling Apart, But Standing in Place is a knitwear collection based on the after math of the bombings in Milan during World War II. The photographs taken directly after the event showcase the structures affected. Many still stood with pieces falling down shadowed in soft dust from the surronding rubble. If you walk aroud Milan today, you can still find remenants of World War II in the graffiti marking the bomb shelters, proving that there were signs of hope even in the most unsure times.
