JRAT's AW23 Collection, Helen Ramona, celebrates the life and times of artist Janelle Abbott’s late grandmother, for whom the collection is named. Paying homage to Mona’s childhood as the daughter of subsistence farmers in dust bowl ravaged Kansas, the collection evokes the dusty gold and tans of the prairie. Bold multi-colored florals and muted pastels speak to her love of gardening and birding, while contrasting pops of bright orange celebrate Helen Ramona’s years as a young mother in Seattle during the 1962 World’s Fair.
