KIDS CAN'T DIE

Nowadays, mostly among adult people, there is the tendency to remember the years of childhood and youth with nostalgia. Most of us are almost terrified of getting old, seeing our bodies in transformation. There was even who, as the Spanish poet Gabriel Ferrater, for the fear of the ageing or, as he said, “the fear of stinking old”, at his fiftieth birthday decided to kill himself. Actually, each of us, within ourselves, has one’s own “inner child”, which is that part of our personality that remains always a child.
