Inspired by traditional Japanese Torii gate, the design expresses minimalist features with a single, distinctive line in the surface.

The name of the collection, TORII, indicates a traditional gate type in the Japanese culture. It represents a dimensional gate which creates bridge between the ordinary world and the existence beyond that. The dividing line appears on every bag that refers to the structure of the ‘torii’-s and their abstract meaning. The harmonious proportion of the Japanese gates was also studied during the design process.
