METAMORPHICA literally and metaphorically analyzes the idea of rock and roll. Textures are inspired by the formation of rock, deep within the mantle of the Earth, transforming by the metamorphic process. By using silicone and leather molding, these textures are replicated into sculptural performance pieces. A collective group of underground rock musicians inspire the persona of the collection.
