Graham Fan Spring 2016

Graham Fan Spring 2016

As a linear evolution of his MA graduate collection at CSM, Graham Fan further explores and experiments with textile innovation in this latest Spring 2016 outing. Inspired by Jane Fonda’s Barbarella (1968), a sci-fi cult classic that features Paco Rabanne’s artfully crafted costumes, Fan delves into the film’s retro and postmodern vision of an artistic future, and has come up with a current interpretation. Light-weight plastics are woven and crocheted in minimal silhouette, paired with with materials such as mohair and cotton cords.
