"Okiku" is a collection based on a japanese ghost story called bancho sarayashiki. it is a ghost story in which promises led to dismal fate of a girl who returns as a onryo (ghost) to haunt those who mistreated her.

Taking inspiration from the oversized silhouette and fitted waist from the edo era, Japanese kosode of different sleeve lengths, Obi (sash worn as a belt), wataboshi (headdress), Ichimegasa (straw hat with transparent veil), and reconstructing them into modern pieces.
