Inspired by: PANORAMA ISLAND by Suehiro Maruo.
A man dreams of creating an artificial island on the ocean, like another Eden. He wants to live a free, lustful and luscious life on the island, with orgies, banquets etc... To achieve this, he will stage his own death, deceive, fall in love, kill his love before blowing himself up in fireworks over his artificial paradise.
Painted canvases, knitted jacquards, coated silks, a panorama of materials and colours is created to express the rise and fall of this mad man.
