Spring/Summer’16 is a very daring and emotional project. Each and every single detail was thoroughly thought and done, starting with the idea and ending up with its final release. The silhouette I came up with and the natural chosen fabrics were inspired by shabby and outworn so called “Britain’s Slumdogs” clothing. Those were London’s poorest children in the early 1900s, fending for themselves while their parents worked 14-hours a day in the factories and docks. Whilst the embellishing details and the inclusion of prints are taken from middle/upper class Victorians.
