Tornitura is Italian for turning. Watching a craftsman use a lathe to make bowls and vases Chris started wondering how he could use this technique for his shoes. Searching out a woodworker who was on the cutting edge in his field. The craftsman explained the rules and limitations. Seeing limitations as a chance to expand and push the boundaries Chris developed designs and had the craftsman make his heels. The uppers reflect the shapes of his heels.
