For this collection I was inspired by pictures of my dad working as a chef and by kitchen work wear. I am not only drawn by the aesthetics of work wear but also by the philosophy, it's made to serve you for a long time. Because the function of work clothes is superior to the design, they almost make an anti-fashion statement. By designing a collection based on the basic principles of kitchen work wear; functionality, freedom of movement, durability and timelessness I want to encourage people to challenge their view about fashion.
