This collection is inspired by Iranian paintings from Qajar dynasty (1787-1925) that mostly introduce women’s figures. These paintings which have influenced the artist show women’s facial beauty: connected eyebrows, tiny lips with no smile, deep and gloomy yet attractive eyes. This art work is a combination of breaking traditional images of Qajar women and a rebellious change in the figures that is inspired by pop art. The depiction of portrays on fabrics is a sarcastic criticism of the present time.
