This project was mainly inspired by mummies. I not only studied the shapes of mummies and the materials the bodies were wrapped in but I also discovered their historical backgrounds. My aim was to imitate ancient materials, threadbare textiles and unfinished ands in my knits. So I did a lot of experiment in knitting to achieve something that resembles the "clothing" of a mummy and I created a garment which tells the story of Re, the sun god.
