Cleonie was born in the imagination of Australian designer Kitty Scott. Whimsical and nostalgic (much like the designer herself), the first collection from Cleonie takes its cues from a by-gone era, evoking the eternal joy of a perfect Summer’s day. Hand-drawn and handmade in Sydney Australia, Cleonie designs are contemporary in their aesthetic and retro at their heart. Constructed in the finest lycras, silks, cottons and linens, your Cleonie garment is made with love and made to last. Crafting euphoric beachwear for men and women, Cleonie dreams in pattern and vivid colour. Complemented best by salt and sunshine, Kitty hopes that her clothes are just the start of many blissful Summer memories. Cleonie designer Kitty Scott graduated in 2010 from RMIT University in Melbourne. Later awarded the Handbury Scholarship Wool Award in 2011, Kitty was given the coveted opportunity to work in London, Milan and Paris amongst the world's fashion elite. Since returning home to Sydney, Kitty has immersed herself in the swimwear institutions of some of Australia’s best known brands. Enriched by her experience, Kitty launched her own label in early 2013. Today she is one of the country's most promising young designers.
