cherry ng is a London based fashion designer, born Hong Kong. Graduating from London college of fashion ( UAL) . Cherry Ng collection are inspired from daily life surround her. interested to street, unisex design. she is trying to show the balance of luxury and low culture through, design, collection story, fabrication and more, giving a crushed images. she would like to break the stereotype of both' luxury' and' low and out of touch'. luxury doesn't have the price of it, it is society defined what is luxury. at the same time, how we define the' out of touching things' that we believe.

Rebellious Fishermen

this collection is inspired by a story from a fisherman in Hong Kong. there's always a fixed image of fishermen in hong kong. however, they are not just who you think. on of the their story has inspired me.

in the collection, explored street style garment, wearable, functional but keeping rough and imperfectly perfect feeling. to balance the lower class tradition and the low culture with luxury fabrication choice,the crushed feeling with a highlight embroidery details. the collection would like to break the stereotype of both ' lower class ' 'low culture' 'luxury'. when they are all together on the same page, redefine them all, they are cool.
