Chelsea Rebelle infuses modern girly girl with sleek silhouettes adorned with plenty of whimsical detail. Unconventional materials such as spiderweb lace and sequins sparkling abound will surely make heads turn as Chelsea Rebelle is unafraid to flirt with the dark side.

Venture into her world inspired by a marvelous blend of poetry, storybooks, songs and lyrics, to drawings, photographs. Music, youth culture, fashion and art outline her creations, however her current life is most central. And they reveal themselves as each collection tells a story, complete with a heroine.

Chelsea Rebelle designer Sarah Brannon started by selling creations at a local flea market in Auckland, New Zealand, and by way of London and Los Angeles, her label was officially born in 2005. The name Chelsea Rebelle refers to the main character from a song, "New Wave Girl," by These Animal Men and Brannon opted for the French spelling of the word “rebel” because she thought the English variation sounded “too harsh, and not girly enough.”

The new Chelsea Rebelle S/S 10 collection ‘Oh You Pretty Things’ inspired by perhaps listening to too much Bowie and T Rex, celebrates the 90s girl with a real downtown heartbeat. Put on your black sequin party dress, rock'n' roll!

Sarah currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
