CHARLES YOUSSEF received his undergraduate degree from Parsons School of Design in New York and an MA in Womenswear from the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, where he studied under Louise Wilson. Charles presented his graduate collection during London Fashion Week in February 2010.

Soon after launching, the line caught the eye of Lady Gaga, who purchased the collection for her 2010 concert tour. Charles held senior design positions at Calvin Klein in New York, Gareth Pugh in London, Cerruti in Paris and Ralph Lauren in New York. In 2014, Charles launched his eponymous New York based label with Resort.

Charles Youssef's collections are presented in New York Fashion Week and are styled by Kate Foley. Current stockists include Barney's New York and select luxury boutiques worldwide.

Charles Youssef is currently based in New York.

FALL17 KINETIC

Charles Youssef’s Autumn/ Winter 2017 collection is made of powerful geometric looks to highlight the strength of women. The collection is empowered, structured, and optimistic.

This season, Charles took inspiration from the Brazilian Tropicalia movement and artist Lygia Clark. Rich saturated tones of jade and mahogany are new for the brand and balance with signature modernist neutrals, beige, black, and white. Fluid bias crepe silks are mixed with luxurious merino wools and cashmere to bring new life to the collection.
