Swiss born Cat Potter is a London-based fashion artist, specialising in conceptual, wearable footwear and accessories. A fine art and curation graduate from Central Saint Martins, her collections fuse classic style, quality and craftsmanship built upon a forward thinking and contemporary design approach.

Cat's MA final collection of bespoke footwear 'PERNILLA' steps out of the traditional footwear context, blurring the lines between footwear and artefact. Grounded in a unique interpretation of architecture and the wooden sculptures of Australian artist Ricky Swallow, the collection is based on complex CadCam work and a labour intensive fabrication process using 3-axis milling machines. The result being a series of sophisticated and elegant sculptural forms that trace the silhouette form of the foot on the inside, diffusing its profile on the outside. The collection won the Jimmy Choo MA Final Collection Award for Excellence 2012 from the Cordwainer's Guild, London.

On graduating from her MA course in Footwear, she won the Eyes on Talents International Prize from Floriane de Saint Pierre for her craftsmanship and innovation as well as the Lineapelle Prize and Jimmy Choo Prize for Excellence. Since then her collections have been exhibited all over the world including Selfridges, The Brooklyn Museum New York and the Aram Gallery. Her work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Wallpaper*, Collezioni Accessori, L'Officiel, Dazed Digital, TL Mag and the private collection of art collector Dakis Joannou, to name but a few.

Her newest collection of bags are created using a single piece of premium heritage leather. Their simple and elegant aesthetic reflect her previous work.

Cat Potter creates timeless pieces which are handcrafted to last for years to come.
