We are a small but very creative team of designers and goldsmiths. Brilldor is a young brand-child of us, rather experienced designer-parents from Hungary (Europe) – Daniel and Orsi Nagy. Brilldor was born in 2017 and it took a lot of time and resources to make the first steps into on-line world.
Twenty years ago, after graduation from Prater Jewellery School of Budapest it was clear for us that mass-produced jewellery is not our “piece of cake”, we believe that jewellery is not about weight of gold and carats, it can and should be linked to its wearer, not only supporting the style, but telling the story of the person. Such “jewellery with soul” can’t be produced in mass quantities – so as it requires time and precise hand work. Thus Splendor jewellery appeared - the brand which was based on their personal designs which depicted the story of its wearer in precious metals and gemstones. This jewellery brand has won numerous international awards and competitions.
Custom made and story-telling jewellery is incredibly unique and you won’t see the duplicate on a colleague or a neighbor, but it’s creation requires time… Which sometimes people simply don’t have… That’s why we decided to launch a Brilldor brand which will combine our experience, creativity and craftsmanship in a ready-made format.
Let it be Splendor or Brilldor jewellery – in our work-shop we work only with the best possible materials, using hypo-allergenic gold alloys, rare gemstones and pearls, cutting edge technology and precise and time consuming manual techniques. For us jewellery is not a frame encompassing a stone but a personalized, well designed work of art that is characteristic of its wearer. Besides aesthetics, the other most important aspects that guide our designs are comfort and durability.
We believe that the jewellery should not be “fast fashion” it can become a cherished family heirloom and be passed from one generation to another and basically live for ever…
