Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka; ‘AYNE’ designer, Ayne Nalir launched her jewelry line in 2011. After working as a stylist cum designer on fashion shoots staged in the paradise island’s beaches and private villas, Nalir began conceptualizing AYNE jewelry. The first capsule collection, Zipartisan, presented pieces from intricate embroidered bib necklaces to large statement pieces combining rich, striking colours. Each piece was unique and AYNE became an immediate success.
Her collection focuses on intricate detailing and a boasts a variety of contrasting materials ranging from Zippers, Swarovski crystals, Pearls, Chains and Semi-Precious stones to create what is essentially the islands’ only high fashion jewelry line.
