Avanti Bidikar is a Menswear and Print designer whose design aesthetic often combines an adaption of traditional, classic menswear with unusual prints and surface textiles, along with a quirky and humorous narrative. Alongside design, Avanti also specializes in fashion illustration.
Of Indian origin, she has lived in Belgium for almost her entire life and finds a great deal of inspiration from both her Indian heritage, and fashion forward Belgian designers. Her previous work experience includes Saville Row's Gieves and Hawkes and British designer Giles Deacon.
Her first Collection ‘The Divine Lover’ debuted at Graduate Fashion Week in June 2011 and she will be starting her MA in Menswear at The London College of Fashion in September 2011.
