Atelier Hon'ne

Atelier Hon’ne is an artisan jewelry brand founded and handcrafted by Hong Kong based artist and jeweler Savia Chan.

“Hon-ne” is a Japanese word, defined as “what a person truly believes”; or more simply, one’s true feelings. In Japanese there exists a traditional aesthetic philosophy of “wabi-sabi”, a state of mind and a way of being. The art of finding beauty in imperfection and profundity in earthiness, Wabi-Sabi reveres authenticity above all else. Savia brings this philosophy to her jewelry by blending ancient goldsmith techniques and contemporary elements.

Dedicated to embracing authenticity, each piece of Hon’ne jewelry carries a message which imbues it with an inherent sense of uniqueness, the end result producing meaningful wearable artifacts of the modern era to its wearers.
