tHE aRTELIER

Poesía eres tú is a collection that talks about dressing poetry. Based on two poetry books written by Adrián Garcia Gago and Jaume Garcia Ferrer, the idea is based on grouping the poems by themes such as happiness, love and wounds among others, to illustrate them by making prints. Each verse of the poems is analysed and the garments are made according to what is expressed in them. If in a verse it says <<our story is a loop, a whirlpool that swallows us>>, one possibility is a garment with ruffles referring to these loops of relationships. In this way, we obtain a collection where each garment and each print has a poetic meaning''.
