Ans Asthaandsidharth

ANS has various connotations, for us it is the initials of our names Astha and Sidharth. Before the inception of our label in 2010 me and sidharth had worked together on various projects and our affinity towards identical design aesthetics brought the label into existence .
Our work is a conversation about the present transitional nature of our country, we create products that dwell from the soil of our nation but mutate them to a more contemporary form. We often try to add a twist to the banality of a craft, intentionally breaking the stereotypes and creating distinctiveness.
Our work is very light hearted, there is no intense , super colossal hulky story behind.
We love to travel in our richly inherited country , looking for some great textiles and create clothes inspired from these travels . Our travelogue is clothing , where we convert the traditional use of a craft to a more modern and globally accepted collection of clothes.
