My name is Amanda Chapman; I’m the brains behind the ADNAMA NAMPAHC brand. I gave birth to ADNAMA NAMPAHC November 2011 in Atlanta, GA. If you haven’t figured it out by now, ADNAMA NAMPAHC is my name spelled backwards, which means “worthy of love”. There are apparently hundreds of Amanda Chapman’s out there and we’re all artists. I had to separate myself from the rest somehow, so there you have it. I started out a graphic designer wanting to establish my very own magazine company. A month before graduation I realized that I not only wanted to design the magazines but I also wanted to design the fashion that went in them.

I worked in the retail business since the age of 14, so I guess you can say I knew a thing or two about the coming and going of trends. However I didn’t know the first thing about starting or running my own brand. I took what I learned in graphics and started sketching what I thought was the best thing to mankind and hit the web searching on what to do next. It was on LinkedIn that I met my future mentor and friend Raj Arora of Farisha Exports. He invited me to India and taught me everything I know about fabrics and manufacturing. I’m a self taught designer, learning as I go, and loving every minute of it. That’s the beginning of my story, not sure how it’s going to end, but I’m looking forward to everything that goes in between.

I’m a colorful person and love colorful things. When I imagine the ADNAMA customer, I imagine gender not playing a role in fashion. I design for both men and women alike. You can find suitable colors and prints that works for both men and women in my ss16 collection. The ADNAMA man and women enjoy pieces that can transition from day to night with an added bonus that transition season to season. Icing on the cake right. ADNAMA’s customers are between the ages of 21-35. They are very aware of the latest trends, prints, signature silhouettes and must have key items. They are daring, enjoy wearing genderless clothing, and have an affinity for fun artistic prints and textures. They love to accessorize beautification and settle sex appeal. He/she are very down to earth and eccentric. They are confident and support freedom and self expression. They believe in being true to themselves and embracing everything about them, including their flaws. They believe all people are the harbors of true and natural beauty. They value capturing beauty through artistic expression. ADNAMA’s customers value life experiences and memorable moments. You may spot them at a concert, art show, restaurant, grand opening, charity events, hanging with friends and plastered all over social media and covers of magazines.
