AbharnaPetite is jewellery designed and crafted by a silversmith in Kochi.

She’s got a mix of styles: some of the pieces are traditional, classical; while others are modern or contemporary; then there are ones that mix everything up just right; yet others are just her ‘style’.
Being a designer who ‘makes’; in whose hands jewellery evolves and shapes, from a sheet of silver to what you see in the collection — sometimes over the course of a few days — she really gets to know each piece. She makes sure they are usable (practical and versatile) by the people around her.
This makes each piece here special, and when you wear one, you wear something truly exclusive.

KUNDAN is a traditional form of Indian gemstone jewellery involving a gem set with a gold foil between the stones and its mount, usually for elaborate necklaces. The method is believed to have originated in the royal courts of Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is one of the older forms of jewellery made and worn in India.
The word kundan means highly refined gold, and a highly refined and pure form of molten gold is used.

*Kundan started off in Rajasthan Royal court and then flourished under royal patronage during the Mughal era.Over the years, the Kundan jewellery of the courts was successfully copied in silver in Rajasthan, Bihar and the Punjab and became popular with the common man. - *Wikipedia

Kundan work is a long and arduous process, involving many different stages and artisans and craftsmen with a variety of skill sets. Each stage needs to be painstakingly taken care of as a mistake at any stage can mar the piece.
We have made a selection of traditional (formal) and contemporary (work/casual) necklaces, pendants, studs, long earrings/chandbalis, rings, bangles, and bracelets. They are available in both gold-plated and silver finish.
