For this season, "Magic," Yuna Yang found inspiration in romance and celebration of life's riches and struggle. Yuna looked to Fellini's masterpiece, La Dolce Vita, for the perfect blend of fantasy and baroque images, something she mirrored in the collection. The extravagance and the beauty of human nature are conveyed in the intricate lace, exquisite tailoring and construction.

Yuna is based in New York, United States. She studied at Central Saint Martins. Her collections are produced in United States.

Yuna Yang's designs draw from her personal fascination with immersing herself in divergent cultures.
After completing her BA in fine art from Ewha Women's University in Seoul, Korea in 2001, she moved to Milan, Italy for a one year fashion design course at Instituto Marangoni.
While in Italy, her aesthetics, attention to detail and eastern perspective on western fashion caught the eye of designer Alviero Martini, and she was honored with a commission to design evening dresses for Milan fashion week (2002).
Later, in 2006 she further honed her technique and received a second BA in fashion design at Central Saint Martins in London. There she was privileged to work with famed designers Ann Sofie Beck and Clements Ribiero (2005-2006).
For her new collection, Yuna Yang reached into her own international experience (having lived and worked in Seoul, Milan, London, Boston and now New York) and her artistic vision to develop a collection with couture quality yet ready-to-wear women's wear.
As a fashion designer, Yuna Yang loves the opportunity to convey the concept behind her work in addition to her constructed final products, viewing each piece as a form of art to be shared, rather than simply sold. Yuna Yang collection is 100% made in Manhattan by the finest couture artisans.
