Formed by philosophers Yashka and Thor after meeting at Atlantic College, St. Donat's Castle, YashkaThor creates new and previously unworn forms for the head.
Yashkathor believe that hats have transformative powers that affect the wearers' worlds, bodies and minds. YashkaThor hats are made from responsibly sourced rabbit hair felt, sheepskin nappa leather from wild Iranian sheep and hand painted with 23.5 carat gold.
Radically luxurious and ready to be worn, their hats have sat upon the heads of people including Leonard Cohen, Rebecca Hall and Miroslava Duma.
YashkaThor have been chosen by Thomas Erber to exhibit in Le Cabinet de Curiosités hosted by Maison Kitsuné, New York. They have also collaborated with designers including most recently Agi & Sam.
The Permanent Collection of 12 hat shapes, described as simple and architectural, are for radically luxurious men, women and all other identities.
