YANAHANDBAGS

The Muse Collection features a combination of uber-chic clutches and luxe waist bags using a fusion of fringes, chains, and vintage inspired roses that can be detached and used as brooches, bracelets, or necklaces. All embellishments are made with18k rose gold, yellow gold, or gunmetal accents. In addition to the creative direction, both designers wanted a collection that was equally environmentally conscious. Thus, the handbags are made from organic cotton, soy foam quilting, vegetable tie-dyed suede lining and re-purposed Italian goat and lambskin leathers.

CACHEE LIVINGSTON is based in NY, United States. Her collections are produced in United States.

Ayana Evans is both a painter and accessories designer. Evans’ educational background includes a BA in Visual Arts from Brown University, an MFA in painting from Temple University, and an AS in Accessory Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Initially, she kept her fashion pursuits and visual art projects separate. But slowly she merged the two schools of thought to build YANA Handbags as it is now, a line of handbags rooted in altruistic endeavors and artistic expression. In 2007 YANA partnered with financial expert, Regan J. Hall, to significantly expand the company’s distribution.
Today the label’s key components include:
Eco-friendly fashions
Charitable donations via sales
Ergonomically correct designs
High-art aesthetics with a sense of humor
YANA handbags are leather collectables that add beauty and whimsy to any outfit. Each bag features luxury details such as 18k plated hardware, tie dye suede lining, butter soft leathers, and hand sewn bows on every label. We often use re-purposed leathers to limit our waste contribution and vegetable dyed skins to curb our chemical impact on the environment. YANA strives to create socially conscious handbags that cater to various charities. This elevate our items to give more than luxury to our clients. And hopefully, YANA's sense of humor is not lost in these lofty goals. Titles such as "Sexy at All Times" are meant to be funny! Utlimately, Evans would hate to be taken "too seriously."
