Grape is armour for a 21st Century woman in a world drowning in shallowness and envy. It is a sanctuary for the spirit.
Depth is created through texturising techniques using elastics which mould and move with the body. Grape is different things to different women. For some, they are the most persuasive body con dresses ever created. For others the uniqueness in every elastic dress is a statement of their individuality.
AW12 also sees the debut of the Cloth-less dress. This showpiece is created by attaching strips of elastic together, without a cloth base to provide structure and shape. It was an exercise in achieving the unlikely.
