VIVIENNEAPPELIUS's picture

Vivienne is based in Berlin, Germany. She studied at Universität der Künste Berlin and graduated in 2011.

Vivienne Appelius was born and raised in Berlin. She started to study Fashion Design at the Univerity of the Arts Berlin in 2006. During her studies she was living and interning in Copenhagen at Henik Vibskov. The Inspiration for her final collection came from a personal journey into "silence", a self-experiment in which she isolated herself. Her collection discribes in snapshots her development during this experiment – from the break up to the release. The outfits function as souvenirs from personal travels. Her work is. at the same time, pure and vibrant and always tells an abstract personal story.
