TRAMPINDISGUISE

The Spring/Summer 2012 collection, ‘Birds of Prey’, is inspired by different birds, especially the carnivorous kinds that prey on other animals to survive. The Greek goddess, Artemis, serves as the muse of this collection as well as inspiration from ancient Egyptians, who personified many of their major gods as birds. The collection consists of unique dresses, kaftans, scarves and separates in striking digital prints and knits emulating the close up image of a feather plumage; and boasts a stunning colour palette of green, blue, purple and pink combined with black and white. The silhouettes have been created using variations of delicate silks, cotton and wool to construct gathered and draped dresses and skirts.
