SUBSUME
The collection is inspired by Interstice: the spaces in-between. Expressed in a palette of blacks, whites, and transparencies, the collection gives form and definition to the ephemeral spaces within the clothed body, between skin and cloth. As black is contrasted with see-through, and solids are juxtaposed with voids, new ideas of space emerge through the body that defy conventional surface treatments. About the Designer
Eric is based in Toronto, Canada. He studied at Ryerson University and graduated in 2011.
Eric Tong is the creative spark behind Subsume. When it comes to design, he takes an interdisciplinary approach that combines his love of fashion and architecture, and looks to make forward-thinking fashions a reality with Subsume.
