STABOLE

The collection Stabole s/s 2011 evokes the wild beauty of the Amazon. Simple and fluid lines colours that recall the river funds, muddy waterholes and the leaves of the rainforest. All enhanced by precious touches in the form of metal fastens and handles, as a reminder that the city is the real jungle. Respecting the fundamental characteristics of the brand: luxury, customized, sophisticated, hand made and made in Italy. Photo: Ania Surmiak, Model: Amanua

STABOLE, The Imaginary Reality
Third millennium, modernity, tradition, Italy. These are the key words of the scenario where STABOLE, the new brand of bags made in Italy, was conceived.
STABOLE was born from an idea by the designer Lorenzo Pezzi to represent contemporary times through a functional line of bags characterised by a linear, soft and elegant design. Essential but creative, STABOLE represents a new form of recovery of the Italian tradition in its highest form of art: the craft of quality.
STABOLE looks throughout the city peripheries for the experienced Carthusians craftsmen that once served Popes and Italian monarchical, and then fled away from the ancient shops of city centres to make room for thirty years of distribution and use of mass objects.
The necessity to find a true identity of the object is suggested by the precious particulars hidden among the folds of the Roman streets, by the furrows in the expert hands that passed down the art from generation to generation, by expressing it in a taste that has been refined over centuries.
This know-how is the one that still represents us in the world.
This know-how is the made in Italy by STABOLE
Lorenzo Pezzi - designer of STABOLE - says that he counted on the possibility to make a vision of "contemporary tradition" real, transforming it into something that everyone could appreciate and live in daily life.. An harmony of shapes and volumes with dynamic lines, colours and materials in contrast to be combined in different combinations.
