Sonja is based in Reykjavík, Iceland. She studied at Iceland academy of the arts. Her collections are produced in Iceland.

Sonja Bent is a young Icelandic designer who focuses on knitwear. Playing with colour and texture she takes knitted clothes far away from frumpiness and into the modern age. The results are sexy yet comfortable – clothes in which you can feel at home in cocktail parties as well as in country cottages. Sonja’s designs carry the glamour and femininity of traditional tailoring but make it softer with the use of knitted fabrics and her special talent of making clothes that make their wearers feel good about themselves - clothes that make you wink. Keeping both practicality and playfulness in mind, she makes clothes for the confident and happy woman/man who is at ease with herself/himself and likes to play a game of dress up – before being undressed.
