SIMONES_ROSE

The Simone's Rose SS'12 collection takes inspiration from a remote island in Eastern Canada where feral horses live and survive in a natural habitat without human interference. A place - where horses, gray seals, wild grass, fields of flowers, ponds and layers of sand create a contrast against ghosts of shipwrecks past. Sable Island’s history and romantic energy inspired a chic and modern collection using contrasting textures and natural fibers while complementing draped, loose silhouettes with structured, yet feminine pieces. Simone’s Rose uses organic and vintage textiles as well as locally purchased factory ends. The designer also uses sustainable methods, creating an eco-conscious, stylish and wearable wardrobe for the woman with attitude, confidence and class. Like the seductive temperament of the wild horses of Sable Island, the woman wearing Simone’s Rose for Spring / Summer 2012 is coquettish and sophisticated.
