Beta Reflective Muslin Top

Black, de-constructed muslin top with laser cut frills and reflective ink print. The muslin top is a beautiful blend of carftsmanship, modern technology, raw punk and tribal exuberance. The black muslin fabric is layered, washed, and sanded, giving a great handle and luxurious softness. Seams are secured with intricate inserted panels and lovingly hand stitched. The main body of the top is deconstructed and reworked with laser cut frill details and overlayed with hand painted reflective ink, providing a strikingly modern take on an ancient material. Up-close the detail of the intricate laser work becomes more apparent, while the grey print is transformed into a shimmering white in the light. The top is an oversized asymetric shape with one sleeve longer than the other, giving a slouchy, easy feel that can be worn as a more conventional top with bottoms, or as a cool dress. Care instructions: Hand wash or machine wash 30 degrees Celsius. It is advisable not to iron in order to maintain the textured appearance after washing. Handmade in London. Made to Order.
