"La levre fumeuse" a.k.a the Smoking Lip was inspired by an interview a few years ago which posed the question of which icon I would most like to make a piece for. Normally I do not have a care as to who but more or less it is how many! At this moment in the interview I envisioned a gold lip cigarette holder dangling from Grace Jones' mouth and I imagined how I would package it. Encased in a crystal ashtray, this would be presented in a black box and wrapped for her personally with a lipstick-kissed note from me. I am honored to say Grace Jones now has one silver and one gold Smoking Lip! Rick Owens' muse Michele Lamy also sports this piece!
